Day 1: Favorite book

Ok. I’m going to give you guys fair warning: I’m AWFUL at picking favorites. My “favorites” tend to reflect my current feelings and therefore change quite often. When I can narrow down the list, I usually still have about 4 or 5 constant “favorites.” So deal with it!

Right. These books are books that I can pick up on any page and know EXACTLY where I am in the plot. These books are books I read multiple times each years. These books are amazing.

In no particular order:

His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman

The characters in these books are my family.


The Fault in Our Stars - John Green

I realize that this book hasn’t been out for a year (let alone a month) but I already know that this book will be a literary staple in my life.

Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling

I grew up with these books, and they will always remind me of my family being together.

A Ring of Endless Light - Madeleine L’Engle

I love this book.
