Oh man Tumblr.

Cute Handsome bookseller and I talked so much tonight! Guys, he’s so handsome - it’s ridiculous. Even my DAD is like, “Dude, Lily, he’s hot!” (And my dad NEVER thinks any of my guypeople are attractive!)

We talked about education, snowboarding, our weeks, our schedules(!), friends, sports, and lots more!

At one point, I was reading a book in an aisle, and he came up behind me, grabbed my shoulders and loudly said “boo!” and then walked off laughing. We laughed and talked about the book I was reading. We teased each other (he said he had to tease me, so that I don’t think he’s boring) lots and yeah.

Guys, I really hope I’m not misinterpreting his actions… but c’mon! He doesn’t do that to anyone else! 

I think I’m going to go in tomorrow afternoon, and try to get the nerve up to ask him out.

My CSET is TOMORROW which is why the posts have been scarce = I’ve been studying like crazy! BUT! After tomorrow, you can expect more regular posts. :] Also: Book 2 and 3 should be coming in the next week, so that’s exciting.

In the last ten days my mom has been laid off, a parent was in the ER twice, my grandpa was (and is) in the hospital, an uncle had heart surgery, and I am incredibly sick. All I want to do is scream and all I can do is cough.

  • shower!
  • go to Barnes and Nobles to drink coffee and research bookshops in the UK/Ireland.
  • pick mom up from work.
  • go to Thai food with Carol and Nicole (yay for making new friends!!)
  • Hang out with the mom.
  • Go to Moonlight Amphitheatre to see The Wonderful Wonderettes musical with the Donaldson’s!
  • READ MORE OF NICOLE KRAUSS’ MAN WALKS INTO A ROOM!!! This book is so good, but taking me forever!

My new life philosophy/outlook/goal:

    Change one thing about myself each month. It can be something small or something big, just something to shake things up a bit.

    • Last month: wear eyeliner. I’ve never worn eyeliner before and I really enjoyed this change. I think I’ll keep it. I felt good, and I looked good!
    • This month: wear bright colors and more pink. I really detest the color pink, and I own maybe one pink shirt that I never wear. So, today I bought new nike shoes (black and hot pink, with matching hot pink laces), and a day-glo green work-out shirt as well as a hot pink work-out shirt. It’s not much, but I’m working on being in less of a rut with my clothing.

    I feel that it’s always good to shake things up in your life; break up the monotony a bit.

    I’m excited!

    Here’s a picture I found on google of my shoes! Mine have pink laces too, though. There’s also a smaller pink nike sign on the inside of the shoes.

    Off to my morning job! I don’t tutor today (yay!) and it’s our Spring Break so I don’t tutor until the 9th!

    Yay! After work, I’m going to meet up with my friend and we’re going to make a kick ass dinner and hang out :]

    Today

    is one of those sad days. I’m listening to music on my new computer, drinking lavender earl gray tea and re-reading The Deathly Hallows in bed. Hopefully this will help me feel better (and let’s face it - if this can’t, nothing can).
